What You’ll Do 

This is an exciting role within our Americas Sales team, reporting into our Vice President of Sales, Americas. As a Distribution Account Director, you will be primarily responsible for driving new business opportunities with and through our partner network via Distribution in The Americas.

To succeed, you must work with internal teams and lead our Distribution Partners to build out territory planning, new partner development initiatives, and existing partnerships to deliver growth for Dubber. A successful candidate will possess excellent energy, drive, and a genuine desire to build business across a portfolio of accounts and to be able to develop effective relationships quickly and find valuable business within each account immediately that can then be enhanced by leveraging internal resources. Candidates with current strong relationships with telecom distributors (TD Synnex, Ingram Micro, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engagement with key executives across existing and new Telecom Distributors Establish and grow relationships within distribution partners key decision-makers, typically at the C-level.
  • Work closely with internal resources, named distribution partners, and the channel community across the Americas region to build & implement a successful partner plan, delivering required pipeline to meet and exceed your individual sales quota.
  • Identify new business opportunities and prepare detailed business plans, engagement strategies, and targets for each account within your assigned portfolio.
  • Act as Dubber ambassador within specific distribution accounts.
  • Articulate and promote the company’s value proposition and services to become a trusted advisor with our channel ecosystem + distribution partners.
  • Partner with distribution partners to lead opportunities and accurately forecast business objectives and outcomes.
  • Be accountable for existing and the growth of new prospective Distribution & Channel partners that will allow better market and vertical sales/support coverage.
  • Drive product marketing and demand generation activities with partners to accompany Dubber products/solutions on partners’ websites, seminars, and tradeshows.
  • Leverage the scale & capability of the Partner Account Managers to consistently expand the number of activated Partners within each Distributor to drive consistent MRR growth
  • Provide regular sales & revenue forecasts and report on growth and key milestones within Distributors

Experience & Education:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Technology Vendors in a Channel / Distribution led sales position across North America
  • Ability to network multiple levels within an account up to C-Level
  • Proven track record of success and experience managing Partners at a senior level
  • Experience within the Telecommunications Industry and ideally exposure to the large telco carriers in the Americas region
  • A detailed understanding of & experience in managing distributor-based relationships
  • Understanding of value selling methodologies coupled with hands-on understanding of Salesforce.com
  • Ideally, exposure to a start-up, rapid growth style environment 
  • Experience with leading sales engagements within the partner ecosystem 
  • Although not a technical role, ability to understand basic technical requirements is a must
  • Track record of working across multiple functions, both collaboratively and independently
