We seek a highly motivated and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our demand generation strategy and marketing operations team. The ideal candidate will drive the implementation of our integrated campaign approach and full lifecycle lead generation strategy. They will oversee always-on digital marketing, lead tracking and reporting, marketing operations, SEO, and nurture campaigns while collaborating on the overall content strategy and account-based marketing.
Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of Salesforce, 6sense, Eloqua, and SiteImprove and be someone who has built, operated, and scaled marketing technology stacks and related processes to drive demonstrable business impact. They will also be responsible for tight alignment with sales operations and delivering a regular reporting cadence to sales leaders.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing demand generation programs that drive lead generation and customer acquisition in the EdTech space
- Developing programs to support customer adoption and retention efforts supporting Customer Success Marketing
- Leading the execution and implementation of comprehensive, multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Ensuring alignment and integration of marketing initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Integrated Marketing, to:
- Support developing and implementing account-based marketing strategies to target key accounts, working closely with Field Marketing
- Establish lead tracking and reporting processes to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI with a regular monthly cadence
- Manage marketing operations to optimize efficiency and streamline processes. Overseeing the marketing team’s tools, data, automation, and integrations, ensuring system alignment across departments. Maintain data accuracy within systems and manage data flows
- Developing and executing a marketing technology vision. Auditing and evaluating the existing tech stack to optimize lead processing, automation, measurement, and overall business value
- Implementing new technologies that align with business goals. Ensuring compliance with global and local regulations
- Developing and executing nurture campaigns to engage leads and drive conversions
- Utilizing Salesforce, HubSpot, 6sense, Eloqua, etc., and/or best-in-class marketing tech stack to execute programs and track and report on leads, including lead scoring and conversion rates
- Collaborating with sales operations, regional Business Development Representatives, and Field Marketing to ensure alignment with sales and leads are actioned by sales through approved SLAs
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
- 10-12 years of marketing experience, focusing on integrated marketing and lead generation
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Eloqua, 6sense, PowerBI
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Preferred skills/qualifications:
- Experience in the EdTech industry
- MBA
Pay range is $135,000- $150,000/year depending upon experience. We use national and industry-specific survey data to assist in determining compensation. Additionally, we consider factors such as external market rate, budget for the role, and the compensation rates of current employees performing the same function. Some roles will have variable pay.
