Senior Fullstack Developer (Fully Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the software development process and migration of our brand-new platform. The ideal candidate will work alongside a fully remote cross-functional team in Cairo responsible for designing and developing applications using java/node.js, react.js/ angular.js with a mix of SQL & noSQL.

Responsibilities

Collaboration: working with your team members in Cairo and other engineers and teams globally.
Application Development: using Java, Node.js & React.js.
API development and integration: design and implement RESTful API's that integrate with third-party API's.
Testing: Unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Jest, or Mocha. Integration testing and end-to-end testing.
Cloud platforms: Helping us build our serverless AWS environment using Lambdas.
Security: Understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Problem-solving and debugging: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Experience & Qualifications

7 years experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in Java programming language, including core Java concepts (OOP, collections, concurrency) and advanced Java features (lambdas, streams, functional programming).
Experience with popular Java frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, or JPA for building RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle.
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and asynchronous programming.
Strong proficiency in either Angular or React for building complex user interfaces.
Knowledge of frontend build tools like Webpack or Parcel.
Cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
Ability to create websites that work seamlessly across different browsers and devices. Understanding of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Material-UI.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English language.
