In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our SharePoint environment, ensuring optimal performance and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support user needs, implement solutions, and enhance the overall functionality of the SharePoint platform. Your expertise in SharePoint administration will contribute to the success of our internal operations and client projects.


Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage SharePoint server environments, including site collections, libraries, lists, and workflows.
  • Ensure the security, availability, and performance of SharePoint applications and services.
  • Collaborate with users to gather requirements and provide support for SharePoint solutions.
  • Develop and implement best practices for SharePoint administration, governance, and compliance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot SharePoint-related issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Conduct regular backups, updates, and maintenance to protect data integrity.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint functionality and usage.
  • Stay up-to-date with SharePoint features, updates, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator or in a similar role.
  • SharePoint, SQL Server, and DR strategies, along with excellent problem-solving and
  • communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, configurations, and administration.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server (2016/2019).
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration tasks.
  • Familiarity with security and permissions management within SharePoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications in Microsoft SharePoint administration are a plus.
