Senior Application Engineer
Location: Europe-Based ( Office, Hybrid, Remote)
Position Summary:
Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our successful iTwin Capture team as a Senior Application Engineer. The Senior Application Engineer plays an important role in winning sales, they are responsible for assessing prospect’s business and technical requirements and developing solutions that meet those needs. The Senior Application Engineer works in partnership with the sales team.
We will rely on you for the following:
- Assist the sales team by delivering technical demonstrations and presentations of the iTwin Capture solution.
- Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.
- Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
- Perform benefit-oriented technical presentations of Bentley products and solutions.
- Prepare and perform generic as well as feature-specific demonstrations of Bentley products and solutions for individual prospects or during marketing events.
- Works with sales team members and Solution Architect in benchmarking to demonstrate a good fit and improved time/performance with the Bentley software.
- To assist Business Development and Sales personnel in technical proposal development for prospects and existing customers.
- Develop standard demonstration sets and content for selected products.
- Knowledge transfer to partners and strengthen Bentley ecosystem.
What You Bring to The Team:
- Degree or equivalent industry experience in Survey and Mapping or Geospatial background
- Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in a 3D mapping role.
- Experience with and knowledge of mobile mapping capture, analysis, and consumption workflows.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Knowledge of photogrammetry and engineering design is beneficial.
- Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong customer-facing skills
What would make you stand out:
- knowledge and track record in 3D mapping workflows
- Experience with the following Bentley software is preferred: OrbitGT, iTwin Capture, and Descartes. Experience with other related industry reality capture software such as TopoDOT Leica CloudWorx, and Pointerra is beneficial
- Fluency in German and/or French will be a plus.
