We are seeking an experienced accountant with experience in both US tax and bookkeeping to join our growing team. Candidates must have at least 3 years of US Public Practice experience to be considered for the position.

Job Summary:

As the Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for undertaking all production accounting activities, including preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and taxation requirements, and delivering quality, accurate outcomes. Including but not limited to:

  • Preparation of US tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations (e.g., 1040s, 1120s, 1120-Ss, 1065s, etc.).
  • Perform monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Preparation of supporting working papers.
  • Attendance at daily production team meetings.
  • Attendance at monthly company and taxation training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of US Public Practice experience in a US Accounting firm.
  • Proficient with software such as QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Highly dependable and trustworthy.
