Software Development Engineer (Russian)

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with an award winning liquidity and technology solutions company who is seeking to onboard a Russian speaking Software Development Engineer to join their team.

Location: Remote/ GMT +4 timezone (+- 1 HR)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy with a strong focus on automation for systems 
• Build and manage a robust testing environment that includes functional, integration, performance, contract, and security testing across various platforms
• Oversee daily operations, conduct performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement within the quality team
• Coordinate efforts to resolve bugs reported by clients and internal teams, while continuously enhancing testing practices
• Prototype and experiment with new tools, libraries, and approaches
• Implement engineering best practices in testing processes and code quality
• Contribute actively to the development of test infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and automation of tests
• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and management of a team of senior individual contributors

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native/Fluency in Russian (B2-C1 level), and English (B2) with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication in both
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in test automation, with a preference for experience in Java, TypeScript, or Kotlin
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a QA/SDET Lead role, 
• Experience managing a team of 3 or more direct reports
• Strong ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Deep knowledge of testing methodologies, strategies, and processes
• Strong hands-on experience with performance testing techniques and tools
• Solid understanding of sound engineering practices and principles
• Practical experience working with CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery
• Experience with microservices, their orchestration, message streaming (Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, NATS)
• Experience in developing tests for gRPC API
