Skills and Competencies

Must have:

  • Hands-on IT skills, e.g., SQL, Python…
  • Analytical mind, keen to investigate and address technical issues
  • Ability and desire to participate in all phases of a software development project
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with business experts and IT

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of bank financial instruments

Qualifications :

Responsibilities:

The Moody's Analytics Summer Internship Program will provide the opportunity to gain in-depth insight into a broad range of financial institutions, working within our Banking Operating Unit (OU), passionate about delivering high quality products and services across our client base. With a combination of formal and on-the-job training, alongside ongoing mentoring, you will be expected to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

 

The program will be from the 16th June to the 22nd August.

 

 

 

About the team

Moody’s Analytics Basel regulatory compliance capital solutions provide calculations and analytics for the regulatory reporting needs of banks. Within our product management team, as an intern, you will participate in the development of our new SaaS solution (Banking Cloud), as well as support the clients using our flagship on-premise solution (RiskAuthority).

Banking Cloud is a highly configurable solution whose configuration is delivered by the product team. In this role, you will deliver new configurations for regulatory updates, new supervisors and regulations. The product owner will define the priorities during sprint planning, and assign tasks to the product analysts who will be responsible for developing and testing the required configuration. Sense-checks of the non-regression tests and release acceptance will also be a part of the role. On the RiskAuthority side, you will support Client Services and implementation teams and work on specifications and configurations for new regulatory requirements.
