Job description

Summary: 

As the Regional Sales Director (RSD), you will lead a team of field sales managers to achieve Brivo’s revenue and growth targets for the Northwest region which consists of Northern CA, NV, OR, WA, ID, UT, WY, MT, CO, AK and Western Canada. You will be expected to develop and implement strategies to maximize reseller onboarding, development, and growth in the territories of the assigned region to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an exceptionally creative and well-organized salesperson, as well as an excellent leader and critical thinker. In addition, you will be expected to speak to Brivo’s complete portfolio of solutions as well as components and systems supported through integration (Multifamily applications, Visitor Management, Elevator Control, IP video, and wireless locks). 

*This is a remote position based out of the Northwestern United States.*

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and coach the region’s field sales team towards actions and initiatives that result in productive territory growth and increased market share among Brivo’s reseller channel 
  • Advise the region’s field sales team on how to optimize reseller deployment in each region, based on market potential and current performance. 
  • Support and coach field sales team in closing large opportunities
  • Ensure the team’s continued professional development and organize onboarding for new team members
  • Develop and monitor metrics to measure performance and quotas
  • Drive results-oriented behaviors in the sales team that optimize quality growth opportunities for Brivo from all product lines
  • Identify, recruit, and maintain key reseller partnerships in coordination with field sales by establishing relationships with key reseller stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate and consistent revenue forecasting via Salesforce.com
  • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of competitive landscape and channel requirements and provide feedback to senior management. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or directly related sales management experience
  • 10+ years of sales experience preferably within the access control/physical security industry, SaaS, software sales, or information security
  • 5+ years of sales management experience leading sales professionals  
  • Channel sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting assigned sales quotas consistently 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Present ideas, expectations, and information in a concise, professional, and well-organized manner
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce.com, Google Apps (Docs/Sheets/Slides, etc.), and other business tools and applications.
  • Must reside in the assigned region and be located near a major airport
  • Travel up to 75% within the region
The compensation package for this full-time position includes a base salary range of $130,000 - $160,000 ($260,000 - $320,000 OTE). Individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, training, and market conditions. In addition to cash compensation (base salary, plus incentive pay), Brivonians are eligible for benefits & perks (www.brivo.com/about/careers) based on their work locations.
