Summary
Firework is a global start-up in high-growth mode. We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Director, Demand Generation to join our marketing team. Working in close alignment with sales and marketing leadership, you'll strategize and execute cross-functional initiatives to move prospects through the funnel, both for new customers and renewals/up-sells. You'll understand our buyer personas and consider the end-to-end customer experience, evaluating and improving messaging and communication formats.

What you’ll be doing
  • Develop and implement comprehensive demand generation strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and pipeline/revenue targets
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, ABM, email, paid social media, paid and organic search, events, webinars, and content syndication
  • Own demand generation OKRs and apply marketing analytics frameworks to measure the effectiveness of demand generation initiatives, and regularly report on performance to executive leadership
  • Manage the demand generation budget effectively, allocating resources and prioritizing various marketing initiatives and campaigns that align with buyers’ journeys to maximize ROI and drive scalable growth
  • Plan, execute and measure multi-channel customer acquisition programs incorporating elements such short and long form content, social media, workshops
  • Develop and own Firework’s ABM initiatives by studying, segmenting and targeting our ICPs
  • Own and track email marketing and nurture programs that move leads through the funnel
  • Conduct rigorous A/B testing and analyze campaign performance metrics to derive insights and optimize campaigns for maximum impact
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to continuously refine and optimize demand generation strategies

  • Must Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of demand generation experience in a B2B SaaS company, with a proven track record of driving measurable results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Minimum 5 years in a strategic leadership role globally.
  • Deep understanding of demand generation best practices, marketing automation tools, i.e., Hubspot, CRM systems, i.e., Salesforce and analytics platforms.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals while fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Superior analytical ability and curiosity to delve into the data and understand what's working and able to devise creative solutions with others
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications and able to effectively listen and communicate to different audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.
  • Highly results-oriented and motivated to meet and exceed objectives
  • An eye for quality content and design (and the drive to achieve it)
  • Superior ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced test-oriented environment

  • The role is remote. For remote, we are looking for candidates based in Toronto, Canada.

    The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated pay range for this role is CAD 165,000 - 206,000. Other factors that impact compensation may include stock options. The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
