Job description

We are seeking a Sr Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Project Managers to ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the development process. Responsibilities include creating and executing manual test plans for web and mobile apps, tracking issues, and reporting on quality metrics. You will also develop and monitor automation tests to improve test coverage and catch bugs before production.

This position requires close collaboration with our US team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination while working from Sri Lanka.

Plan, execute, and champion improvements within the team to support efficiency and quality

Complete quality-assurance-related activities for products and systems

Provides risk assessment at all stages of software development to identify issues and trends by escalating to team members

Consistently contributes and drives QA test automation to catch bugs early in the life-cycle, preventing bugs from escaping to Production

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

5+ years experience in QA, with strong knowledge of methods, tools, and techniques

Excellent verbal and written English

2+ years of experience in Cypress/Playwright/Selenium or equivalent2+ years of JavaScript, PythonAtlassian Suite: Jira/Confluence/ZephyrExperience using Airflow and Buildkite a plus

Experience Testing Mobile Applications a PlusExperience with performance testing and load testing tools a plus
