monday.com is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Brand Design Group Lead to join our Design team at our headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel. This role demands exceptional managerial abilities, as you will be mentoring and guiding a team of designers, including a team lead and four additional designers. You will take ownership of the team’s success and the brand’s look and feel, with outstanding conceptual and visual design skills, as well as a strong understanding of complex design systems used across multiple channels.


About The Role

  • Lead and Inspire: Mentor and guide a team of designers, including a manager (team lead) and four designers, fostering their growth and ensuring the team’s success. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Develop Visual Identity: Create and develop the visual identity for monday.com based on audience, channel, industry, and business goals.
  • Conceptualize and Execute: Work autonomously and collaboratively across disciplines to design fresh, compelling brand experiences from initial concepts to final production, both in the platform and in other assets.
  • Impact and Innovate: Play a key role in building and developing our branding, making an impact by reaching millions of customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading a design team, with proven strong leadership and social skills - experience managing managers is a plus.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in brand or marketing design
  • Excellent understanding of design systems and information hierarchy, capable of strategic thinking and execution.
  • Highly collaborative, organized, and kind, but also comfortable working autonomously and taking direction.
  • Creative problem-solver and task-master, able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excited by and plugged into the latest developments in branding and the creative world, with a willingness to explore and experiment.
  • High level of written and spoken English.
