Cardo Systems, a global leader in consumer electronics for motorcycle riders, off-road vehicles (UTV/ATV) enthusiasts, and outdoor adventure seekers, is seeking an experienced, organized, driven, and passionate Social Media Manager for our Off-Road business (globally). 

*The role will report directly to the Director of Digital Marketing with a dotted line to the Head of ORV Business. 

*Position location: USA.  

Our desired candidate should demonstrate the required capabilities, passion, resourcefulness, and determination to drive consumer demand in this growing product category.  

To own the role, you’ll need to; 

  1. Bring extensive knowledge of social media and influencer marketing both in planning, creation, and analysis.  
  2. Be a self-motivated and inspired individual who enjoys the drama that comes with working in a fast-growing, international organization.  
  3. Demonstrate an intimate familiarity and strong networking inside the Off-Road industry worldwide, particularly in the US. 
  4. Understand our products intimately and be able to perform and demo them on-call.   


Objectives of this role 

  • Acquire new followers and increase engagement with existing audiences through high-quality social initiatives.  
  • Develop and produce social media content.
  • Increase our influencer pool, develop affiliation plans, and manage and measure the performance of our existing KOL inventory. 
  • Improve ROI through on-target messaging. 
  • Identify new channels to embed our brand in alignment with our marketing directions. 
  • Glean insights from social data using monitoring tools.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Use social media tools to craft and release content to our social channels
  • Plan and develop strategies to increase followers, plan campaigns, and create content
  • Help building and lead our community of key opinion leaders (KOLs) and affiliates in the offroad category
  • Develop social media campaigns in collaboration with the ORV team  
  • Become an extension of the company’s brand to connect with existing customers and acquire new ones 
  • Analyze the company’s social strategy to make frequent improvement suggestions 
  • Stay updated with new and emerging trends to help keep Cardo ORV's social media presence consistently relevant.
  • Establish KPIs (key performance indicators) to understand the efficacy of existing social campaigns and adjust strategy for further optimizations 
  • Produce content and post it across social media accounts 
  • Review and analyze trends in the ORV industry and analyze the performance of running campaigns 
  • Communicate with stakeholders, engage with customers, and create and maintain client relationships 
  • Automate activities, advertising, financial planning and strategy 
  • Attend ORV shows to produce additional content 

Requirements

Skills and qualifications 

  • Significant experience leading a brand’s social media activities and growth initiatives 
  • Strong affiliation with Off-Road Vehicles, including snowmobiles.
  • Extensive knowledge of a variety of current social media platforms and tools 
  • Deep knowledge in crafting effective social media strategies 
  • Strong familiarity with email marketing platforms and campaign analysis tools 
  • Clear, confident communication abilities 
  • Strong multitasking capabilities under pressure and effective time-management skills.
