Responsibilities:
This position will report directly to the Regional Vice President of Pharmacy and will collaborate with the other 340B team members within the National Prime Organization.
· Serves as the primary individual responsible for billing and revenue cycle data validation and routine audits which simulate and prepare the health system for HRSA audits.
· Provides system administrator functions related to maintaining accurate data within the Verity and CaptureRx systems for eligible practice sites, eligible providers, and audits of same.
· Maintains financial data regarding invoices received from 340B savings and creates year to year analysis each month for same.
· Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of Policies and Procedures.
· Ensures proper control and record keeping for 340B program compliance routinely reviews records to assure compliance.
· Prepares repots of pharmaceutical purchasing, dispensing ad billing from 3rd party software as well as department data systems.
· Adjudications of reports and analysis to the NDC level of drug products.

Required qualifications:
1) Education:
a. 340B University: If not already completed, successful completion within 4 months of employment.
2) License required: State Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist License
3) Experience: Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience. Microsoft Office Professional Applications. Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form to facilitate interactions with vendors, IT staff, and administrators. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and data organization mandatory. Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and considerable multi-tasking daily. Must be able to use judgement and work independently with the ability to meet deadlines and consistently prioritize competing tasks. Requires the ability to approach and solve problems analytically. Experience with billing and revenue cycle as it relates to pharmacy.
Preferred qualifications:
1) Education: Master’s Degree
2) Preferred Experience: Experience with 340B TPAs or the ability to complete certification within 4 months of hire date, knowledge of 340B compliance rules, or combination of both. Demonstrated ability to use Electronic Medical Record system and review patient encounters responsible for the generation of 340B eligible prescriptions.
3) 340B Apexus Certified Expert (ACE) Certification preferred
4) Experience with contract pharmacy workflows and 340B audit management preferred
