We are seeking experienced insurance contract candidates for a flexible, fully remote opportunity as Independent Contractors. This position involves the meticulous processing of audio recordings, including recorded statements from car accidents, homeowners' claims interviews, and 911 calls, ensuring adherence to our stringent style guides and producing accurate verbatim transcripts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert audio recordings into precise verbatim transcripts
  • Diligently follow style guides and maintain editing protocols
  • Demonstrate high accuracy and attention to detail in all assignments

Required Skills

  • Exceptional listening abilities
  • Strong adherence to deadlines and style guidelines
  • Excellent literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar
  • Proficiency in remote collaboration
  • Typing proficiency with both speed and accuracy
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check
  • US citizenship is required (Note: This position is not available to residents of Massachusetts, Illinois, or California)
  • Practical experience in transcribing and/or caption-to-verbatim text editing of audio content
