Job description

Work Mode: Remote

Location: Juárez, Nuevo León.

Opportunity

The Manager- Sourced Scheduler role is responsible for driving sourced inventory replenishment while maintaining optimum inventory levels by product and driving achievement of inventory health targets. A key aspect of this role is to drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective action of both short and excess inventory positions while continuing the daily operation. This position will lead a team of two and collaborate with external suppliers as well as internal stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Sourcing, Product Management, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, and any other department relevant to the management, alignment and execution of sourced scheduling.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Proactive analysis of inventory levels versus target to understand opportunities for improvement.
  • Tracking corrective analysis to completion and measuring effectiveness.
  • Ensuring best practices are deployed across categories for Inventory Planning, especially by providing guidance to Supply Planning.
  • Consolidating inventory forecasts and management reporting.
  • Owning overall KBNA sourced inventory targets and results, escalating through strategic sourcing teams where needed.
  • Developing, deploying and supporting tools & reports to provide early alerts on supplier issues.
  • Communicating promptly and effectively on the sourced inventory issues and develop action plans to solve them including development of presentations to senior leadership.
  • Monitoring safety stock levels & minimum order quantities, perform root cause analysis on any issues discovered, and driving the processes for updates, regular and ad hoc.

  • Inventory forecast accuracy – dollars and turns
  • Inventory Health. SKUs below minimum. Surplus SKUs.
  • Added Excess & Obsolete
  • Supplier delivery performance

Supervisory Relationships:

  • Director, Production Control – KBNA Supply Chain
  • Direct Reports
  • Sourced schedulers/ project leaders (2)


External Business Relationships:

  • APICS, CSCMP and other appropriate supply chain affiliations.
  • Customers in regard to Supply Chain initiatives and product alignment.
  • Key vendors, domestic and global, in regard to collaborative planning and replenishment.


Skills/Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required: Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance or Engineering.
  • At least 5-7 years of leadership experience in supply chain management using relevant inventory management tools.
  • APICS/IBF or other related certification is preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management and cost reduction initiatives
