Job Summary:
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for promoting Alcon Vision Suite, selling Alcon’s visualization and diagnostic portfolio. Through consistent engagement and relationship-building with customers, you'll drive sales to meet targets. Additionally, you'll showcase expertise in demonstrating advanced surgical equipment, adeptly troubleshoot issues, and actively pursue opportunities within the Ophthalmology market.


Responsibilities:
As a Vision Suite Manager – Surgical Sales you will be responsible for supporting surgical facilities, and you will be trusted to oversee the entire Alcon Vision Suite portfolio showcasing expertise in our products benefits and differentiating vs. competitive products by providing high technical consultancy in assigned accounts. You will work with account managers, tender and pricing teams, and marketing to provide the right customer solutions. In this role, a typical day can include:


- Driving total Alcon sales performance in the territory:
o Diagnostics portfolio: Argos, Verion and next generation devices
o Visualization portfolio: Luxor Revalia, Ngenuity and next generation devices
- Gaining sales and market share across Alcon’s digital visualization, microscopy, and diagnostic portfolio across your assigned Territory.
- Proactively collaborating with AMs, PVEMs, VRMs and other sales specialist roles: identifying potential targets and new customers.
- Being the key end-to-end specialist contact for visualization and diagnostic systems
- Promoting, demoing, and training HCPs in the OR (Operating room) and clinic.
- Driving equipment penetration and upgrades according to the account plan in SalesForce
- Reporting competitive intelligence
- Consistently acting in accordance with SOPs and medical device regulatory environment.

Competencies:
• Knowledge in connectivity and digitalization of the clinic & OR. Working knowledge of visualization, digital diagnostics & workflow, and ability to message on connectivity.
• Strong proactive and hunter mindset, with an ability to collaborate with other Alcon team to generate leads.
• Highly self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership of their territory as if it were their own business.
• Ability to run demos with the support of Technical Service and CAS.
• Ability to provide deals with various equipment, IOLs & services (EFAs, bundles, rentals).
• Sales experience in an operating theatre setting working with capital equipment – essential.
• Experience working with Private sector, networking and relationship building with both Clinical & Non-Clinical KOL’s – essential. Strong collaboration skills working with cross functional teams and matrix organization.
• Microscopy and/or Audiovisuals and diagnostic experience - preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve individual and team targets through lead generation and sharing best practice.
• Excellent communication skills, both technically and interpersonally.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity & Learning agility.
• Experience with CRM applications and Microsoft Office tools is desired.

Education:
• Tertiary qualifications in optometry, orthoptics, science or business

Work Experience:
• 3 years of experience in medical devices &/or pharma within a surgical environment
