Job description

Squarespace Acquisition & Revenue Analytics is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join our Markets & Customers team.

You will have the opportunity to power our market strategy, campaign performance, product adoption and customer growth through innovative measurement, reporting, analysis and insight. The depth and breadth of our marketing activities and our growing portfolio of markets and products means you’ll address complex questions with significant room to influence business results. 

You are data-fluent, outcomes-oriented, curious, proactive and collaborative.  

This is a hybrid role working from our New York City headquarters (3 days per week).  You will report to the Manager of our Markets & Customers Analytics team.

 

You'll Get To…
  • Partner with Marketing, Data Science and Engineering teams to translate business needs, questions and goals into analytical requirements, solutions and insights
  • Define and track key metrics across markets, campaigns or customers
  • Build and improve dashboards to answer recurring questions and enable stakeholders to access and act on key metrics using self-service tools 
  • Perform exploratory and deep analysis to uncover trends, performance drivers and outliers across markets, customers and campaigns
  • Synthesize and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels
  • Champion data and analytical best practices among peers and partners
Who We're Looking For
  • 3+ years in a Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence or Data Science role
  • Experience defining metrics, analyzing data and applying frameworks to measure performance
  • Experience building dashboards (e.g. Looker, Tableau) and working with large datasets using SQL
  • Experience synthesizing results into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Experience with Python, dbt, applied statistics or experimentation a plus 
  • Knowledge of international marketing, product marketing, CRM or digital media a plus
  • Strong communicator and presenter, comfortable tackling open-ended questions
  • Outcomes-oriented, curious, proactive and collaborative

Cash Compensation Range: $85,500 - $138,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to receive an incentive award as part of their total compensation.
