Responsibilities:

Performs special procedures and duties of a Radiology Technologist. Operates special procedures equipment and assists physician during special procedures. Operates Computer Tomography (CT) unit independently.

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

 

  1. Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  2. Registered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)

            OR

            Registry eligible through ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)

  1. Basic knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy.
  2. Ability to insert intravenous catheter.
  3. Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians and other personnel.
  4. Certified in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
  5. Registry eligible must be registered as a CT technologist within 6 months of start date.

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

 

  1. Prior training or experience in Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning.
Work Hours:: 7AM-3:30PM
