Job description

People Director (Maternity Cover), London

Live shows make us feel good. They’re a time to hang with our friends, discover new artists or lose ourselves on a dancefloor. We’re on a mission to bring all of this to more fans, more often – and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for an experienced People Director to join the global People team and elevate our employees’ experience.

At DICE, you’ll be part of the company that’s redefining live entertainment. It’s a place where you can be yourself, influence the culture, and create work that you’re proud of.

About the role

Based in London and reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll play a key role in the leadership, strategy planning and delivery of the People team. You’ll evolve and influence the global people agenda to ensure the people team’s work is impactful for all employees at DICE.

At the same time, you’ll be a true partner to the senior leads (and where required, the exec team), supporting everything from org design through to providing them with a coaching approach and providing a sounding board.

You’ll be

  • Leading our people ops, workplace and partnering teams, knitting together operational and business partnering to build scalable processes

  • Building trusting working relationships to ensure the People function is approachable, responsive, supportive and impactful

  • A strategic thought partner and coach to senior leaders across DICE

  • Driving impactful global projects, informed by data, previous learnings and creativity

  • Leading the team to deliver our people processes, including bi-annual reviews, talent mapping, pulse and DEI surveys and pay reviews (including salary benchmarking)

  • Experienced in elevating performance management, organisational development, career progression and employee engagement

  • Designing and driving DICE people policies, programmes and benefits that are fit for scale, in collaboration with the wider people and DEI agenda globally

  • Partnering with the senior Legal team to ensure DICE is compliant and operating with all relevant employment laws

  • Driving decisions through key metrics to improve visibility on performance and productivity across the people function

You are

  • A fan of music and culture.

  • An inclusive leader.

  • Someone with a growth mindset.

  • Able to display humility and resilience when you make mistakes.

  • Actively responsible.

  • A creative thinker who establishes solutions and influences others into action.

  • People-centric and process-oriented.

  • A confident and clear communicator.

  • An executor and a strategist.

  • An advocate for a diverse and equitable culture, policies, processes and programmes.

You’ll need

  • Proven track record as a People Director (or equivalent senior People lead)

  • Experience in leading org design initiatives

  • Experience working closely with a DEI function, or leading DEI initiatives

  • Experience working closely with a Reward team, or leading reward initiatives

  • Experience leading and inspiring a growing people team to maintain focus and execute with excellence.

  • Experience owning and evolving a progressive people agenda, across performance, engagement, policy and reward

  • Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design clear processes, and a very detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem-solving.

  • Proven ability to influence across diverse groups and levels.

  • Experience working in partnership with Talent and building teams through scale.

  • Good knowledge of European employment law (France, Spain, Italy, Germany).

  • Executive coaching qualification is a bonus.
