Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Product Owner to lead the development and growth of an innovative sportsbook game for our client. This game is free-to-play for our clients’ regular players, a high-impact product that plays a critical role in driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention. The successful candidate will have the expertise to take full ownership of this product and work with external development teams to deliver a compelling experience that aligns with our client's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Ownership & Strategy: Act as the primary owner of the sportsbook game, responsible for defining its vision, roadmap, and success metrics. Drive the product strategy to enhance user engagement and increase market penetration.

Collaborative Development Oversight: Oversee and coordinate with external development teams, ensuring timely delivery of quality features and alignment with the product’s vision.

Expansion & Diversification: Identify opportunities to expand the product line into additional free-to-play games, positioning our client as a leader in innovative sports gaming.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage an analytical background to develop insights and strategies that maximize customer acquisition and retention. Create and manage reporting frameworks that track product performance and inform decision-making.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders, including marketing, design, and customer experience teams, to align game features with broader business objectives and optimize user experience.

Requirements:

Proven experience in product ownership, particularly in gaming or sports betting.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for strategic decision-making.

Experience managing external development teams.

Familiarity with free-to-play and retention-based gaming products.

Strong understanding of user acquisition, engagement, and reporting practices.
