Reporting to Manager – Quality Engineering, the Software Engineer Intern– QA automation will be responsible for expanding QE automation coverage, executing QE automation testing and performing necessary manual testing throughout software SDLC. They will work closely with peers in the QA Automation team to convert test cases into robust and reliable automation suites based on Veryon automation framework. They will be accountable for raising any risks, issues and blockers affecting technology deliverables so that the project delivery teams are aware and in alignment and can act and respond in a clear and consistent manner.
The ideal candidate will be in their final two years towards a Computer Science degree or equivalent and is efficient in coding in Java.
What You’ll Accomplish - Your Performance Objectives
Objective #1: In your first 30 days, gain a solid understanding of the current state of the QA automation framework, and be able to start working independently on assigned projects
Objective #2: In your first
90 days, demonstrate your ability to take lead on QA automation executions
