Job description

Position Overview

We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer with experience in an Agile environment to join our Prodevix team in Dublin, Ohio. The team members who make up this software development team are specialists in data management and software development, allowing them to create unique business solutions.

The Software Developer will play a crucial role in ensuring our software systems are built with the highest levels of quality. They will take architecture designs from the Software Architect and develop them. They must be a champion of modern DevOps practices to continuously improve our organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Create Stunning Frontends: Develop visually appealing and feature-rich frontends using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You'll work with modern tools like Bootstrap and jQuery within a java/groovy web application to bring your creative ideas to life.

·       Innovate with AI: Build software that leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate processes and deliver unique, valuable solutions in the enterprise data management space.

·       Collaborate and Share: Work closely with your team to share your creations and insights. You'll be part of a supportive environment where knowledge sharing is key.

·       Continuous Learning: Always look for opportunities to learn and improve your core software skills, team processes, and systems. We encourage a culture of continuous growth and development.



Requirements

Critical Competencies

·       Comfortable developing a web application

·       Highly detail- and results-oriented and comfortable working with a minimum of intra-day direction or feedback. We are seeking individuals who have a high level of initiative and take personal ownership in their roles and responsibilities.

·       Not shy about learning, nor reluctant to build bridges to accomplish goals.

·       Disciplined curiosity: interest in asking ‘why’ and synthesizing important findings into alternatives and recommendations.

·       Confidence in tackling new business or technical challenges.

 

Qualifications

·       Demonstrated experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and optionally Bootstrap and JQuery

·       Demonstrated experience with either Java, Python, or Ruby; REST APIs; Web Development; and an MVC framework like Ruby on Rails or Django

·       Demonstrated experience in a software organization following modern DevOps practices

·       Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

·       Must be able to commute to Dublin, Ohio office.
