This role can be based in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, France, or Italy.
DUTIES ON DECK
  • Product decision - you are responsible for curating the best travel content that speaks to American travelers.
  • Strategy & planning - you give creative and professional input to build the HolidayPirates brand in the US market
  • Data-Driven Decisions - Numbers don’t scare you. Use KPIs and performance metrics to guide content choices and optimize campaigns.
  • User-Centric Approach - Walk in the customer’s shoes, ensuring our booking experience is seamless and engaging.
  • Big Picture - You are able to focus on a broad range of travel topics and sources (e.g. own arrival, city trip, package) and identify trends in the industry keeping an eye on what’s hot in the U.S. travel space.
  • Teamwork - You work in close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams (key account management, digital marketing, etc.), to maximize deal reach
  • Non-deal content - Besides travel deals, you will create interesting, SEO-optimized content that engages our audience.
Salary Band: €33,300-€41,700

YOUR TREASURE OF EXPERIENCE
  • You’re a passionate storyteller who knows how to create content that sticks.
  • 2+ years of experience in online content production, ideally focused on the U.S. travel industry.
  • A deep understanding of the U.S. market and travel trends.
  • Experience in market analysis and ability to identify travel trends in the U.S. market 
  • You are well-traveled with strong skills in researching and sourcing travel deals.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, adaptable and self-driven.
  • Excellent English language skills (native level) and expression
