  • 20 hours per week 2 PM to 6 PM Monday to Friday Manchester UK Time

Job Description

As our Customer Service and Social Media Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and driving engagement across our digital platforms. You’ll manage customer inquiries, process subscriptions, and handle social media interactions for our Adaptogenic Mushroom products. This position offers a unique blend of customer service and social media management, allowing you to develop diverse skills in the e-commerce and health supplement industry. You’ll work directly with the business owner, contributing to the company’s growth and helping optimize customer experience strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to approximately 50 customer emails daily, addressing inquiries about our Adaptogenic Mushroom products
  • Manage customer subscriptions, process cancellations, and update accounts using Shopify
  • Handle refunds, apply discounts, and arrange reshipments for damaged products
  • Monitor and engage with comments on Instagram and Facebook ads, managing both positive and negative feedback
  • Utilize translation tools to communicate with customers in multiple EU markets
  • Assist in social media content creation, including product photography and posting
  • Conduct monthly reviews of older ad feeds to maintain a positive brand image
  • Collaborate with the business owner to enhance customer service processes and social media strategies



Requirements
  • Excellent written communication skills in English
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify
  • Proficiency in social media management, especially Instagram and Facebook
  • Ability to use AI tools like ChatGPT for crafting professional responses
  • Comfortable with translation tools for multilingual communication
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
  • Customer-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of subscription-based business models
  • Interest in health and wellness products, particularly Adaptogenic Mushrooms
  • Availability to work UK afternoon/evening hours (2-6 PM BST)
  • Flexibility to potentially increase hours during peak seasons (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas)
