Job description

This is a remote position.

  • Conduct outbound calls to potential clients in Canada and the US to introduce payment processing solutions
  • Explain the benefits and features of payment processing services to business owners and decision-makers
  • Identify qualified leads and schedule follow-up appointments for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate records of all calls, interactions, and lead information in the company’s CRM system
  • Achieve weekly and monthly targets for calls made, leads generated, and appointments set

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
  • Previous experience in cold calling or telemarketing, preferably in B2B sales
  • Basic understanding of payment processing or financial services industry (preferred but not required)
  • Strong listening skills and ability to build rapport over the phone quickly
  • Resilience and positive attitude in the face of rejection

Scope

  • Monday to Friday, flexible 8 hours a day within the typical Pacific, Central and Eastern time zones
  • Target businesses in Canada and the United States
  • Focus on promoting payment processing solutions to various types of businesses
  • Work remotely as part of an offshore team supporting North American sales efforts
