Job description

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Partner Servicing Analyst to join our team! The ideal candidate in this position would fulfill First Merchant’s mission by providing high performing, knowledgeable, and responsive service to our internal commercial line of business, as well as establish and maintain positive relationships with the back office teams at our external bank partners’ Agency Services divisions. This will include at a minimum the following; project development and tracking, regular communication with internal and external partners, facilitation of customer support through various operational resources, and providing timely resolution to an assortment of client needs.

As part of this role you: 

  1. Manage the new and evolving Commercial Loan request case submission process.
    1. Support the Commercial Sales team and the Debt Capital Markets team by extending the FMB Mission to Partner Banks through relationship building with back-office support teams at other institutions.
    2. Assist other loan operations personnel with onboarding, funding, and quality review of new multibank facilities.
    3. Provide intradepartmental transactional support as needed.
      1. Recognize and document opportunities for improvement.

        To be successful in this position, we require the following: 

        • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
        • A minimum of four (4) years of loan administrative or operations experience, preferably in commercial loans.
        • A minimum of four (4) years of customer service experience in the financial services industry.

        The following would be preferred: 

        • Bachelor’s degree.
        • Lean Six Sigma – Yellow Belt Certified.
