The Importance of the Role
As a member of the Analytics/Gene Therapy group this position will be responsible for performing analytical assays supporting the evaluation of early-stage production processes for the AAV vector research pipeline and supporting AAV product testing. The individual may collaborate with Process Development and additional internal and external stakeholders to ensure the development and transfer of robust analytical methods.
The Opportunity to Make a Difference
- Perform analytical assays to support production, purification, and comparability of AAV gene therapy products using qPCR, ddPCR, BLI, DLS, ELISA, and other general laboratory techniques
- Work seamlessly with cross functional stakeholders to help advance the AAV vector production portfolios
- Participate in project related teams and other internal/external collaborations
- Ensure that scientific and technical challenges are resolved in a timely manner
- Maintain all appropriate laboratory records
- Perform routine data analysis for use in presentations, publications, and internal reports
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and effective environment with personal accountability
- Perform other related duties as required
More about You
- Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Virology, or a related field
- BS degree (or equivalent) with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Working experience in gene therapy and/or viral vector biology is preferred
- Experience with at least 2 techniques – qPCR, ddPCR, BLI, DLS, and ELISA is desirable
- Attention to details is a must
- Strong organizational skills

This position requires work on site at one of Sarepta’s facilities in the United States.
The targeted salary range for this position is $57,200 - $71,500 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta’s compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.
