Job description

Product Marketing Manager

Procurify is the AI-enhanced procurement and AP automation platform for the mid-market. We make it easy for organizations to take control of spend and save money. We’re looking for a talented and team-driven Product Marketing Manager to join us on our journey.

About the role

The Product Marketing team communicates the value of Procurify to new and existing customers. Acting as a bridge between our product engineering and go-to-market teams, this role will lead the development and execution of our go-to-market strategy across marketing and sales channels.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Marketing, you will support our core procurement portfolio, helping businesses optimize purchasing workflows and effectively manage budgets, vendors, and contracts. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, aligning on packaging and positioning, and driving product launch and growth initiatives.

You’ll collaborate closely with product, marketing, sales, customer experience, and partner teams to ensure they are enabled to sell and support our products. You'll translate our product strategy into actionable go-to-market plans and lead cross-functional projects that drive measurable results.

What you’ll be working on:
  • Championing go-to-market moments: Define strategies to maximize market momentum and drive product launch and growth initiatives.

  • Arming our channels: Create tools and collateral for sales, customer experience, and partner teams, and deliver training to ensure consistent message delivery.

  • Tracking performance: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, adjusting strategies to meet business goals.

  • Analyzing our industry: Stay informed about the latest market trends and assess their potential impact on our product portfolio.

  • Researching our competitors: Provide insights into competitor offerings, positioning, and strategic directions.

  • Understanding our customers: Develop empathy for procurement teams, exploring their needs and buying processes.

  • Learning our product: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand our product’s vision and capabilities.

  • Articulating our differentiation: Develop buyer profiles, align on product positioning, and craft compelling messaging.

  • Supporting our product flywheel: Bring market insights back to the product team to help inform and influence future enhancements.

Success in this role depends on your ability to navigate ambiguity, align stakeholders, leverage insights, and consistently advocate for our customers. KPIs will focus on critical metrics such as product adoption and engagement rates, return on investment for marketing campaigns, customer retention, sales win rates, and time-to-close.

Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for Product Marketing Manager with 3+ years of experience leading go-to-market strategies and initiatives in SaaS and/or B2B environments, who can consistently demonstrate these ten qualities:

  1. Customer-obsessed: A customer-first mindset with a passion for understanding and advocating for customer needs to enhance their experience.

  2. Articulate: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the ability to clearly communicate value propositions.

  3. Enthusiastic: A genuine passion for product marketing and a proactive approach to driving initiatives that inspire and engage both customers and colleagues.

  4. Organized: Excellent project management skills, ensuring focus and alignment among stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  5. Collaborative: Strong relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels without formal authority.

  6. Curious: An eagerness to learn and explore industry trends, coupled with a passion for solving customer problems through innovative solutions.

  7. Data-informed: A data-driven approach to decision-making, focused on achieving measurable objectives and using insights to refine strategies.

  8. Detail-oriented: Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to quality and a strong focus on tracking performance metrics.

  9. Adaptable: Comfort in navigating ambiguity and flexibility in adjusting priorities within a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  10. Ambitious: A blend of ambition and humility, with a drive to innovate and improve processes while remaining open to collaboration and feedback.
