Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Content Strategist to join a beauty and personal care industry! In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting compelling short-form videos for social media platforms, including Instagram Reels and TikTok. Your innovative approach and keen eye for detail will help us elevate the brand presence and engage our audience effectively.

Compensation range:

  • 80,000-95,000 monthly depending on skill set and experience


Core Responsibilities:

  • Video Creation: Design and produce 4-5 high-quality short-form videos daily tailored for social media and paid media campaigns.
  • Content Development: Transform raw video content from influencers into engaging User-Generated Content (UGC) that resonates with our target audience.
  • Scheduling & Strategy: Utilize Metricool and Amplify to schedule and optimize social media video postings, ensuring timely delivery and maximum reach.
  • Market Research: Conduct competitive content analysis to identify trends and propose fresh content ideas to your U.S.-based supervisor.
  • Collaboration: Actively participate in internal marketing team meetings, sharing insights and creative ideas to enhance our video strategy.
  • Training Execution: Implement design concepts based on video training sessions and live guidance from your supervisor.


Qualifications:

Proven experience in short-form video editing and design, with the ability to produce a high volume of content (4-5 videos per day).

  • Strong background in creating UGC content from influencer materials.
  • Experience in a fast-paced design environment, demonstrating adaptability and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with brand guidelines and the ability to create designs that align with existing examples.
  • Proficiency in CapCut; experience with Adobe or other video editing software is a plus, along with a willingness to learn CapCut.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach to sharing creative ideas.
  • Availability for regular team meetings (video-on) a few times per week.
  • Ability to work within Central Standard Time (CST).

Nice-to-Have:

  • Skills in writing engaging captions and hooks to enhance video content.
