Job Title: Senior Automation Tester
Experience Level: 4-6 Years

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Automation Tester with over 4-6 years in automation testing, including at least 1 year of hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript). The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in automation frameworks, proficiency in API testing, and extensive experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities:
•Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automation test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on user stories and requirements.
•Use Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) and Selenium Java to automate testing processes for both new and existing products.
•Conduct API testing with tools like Postman and frameworks such as Rest Assured.
•Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks, following best practices and coding standards.
•Collaborate closely with developers to document, track, and resolve defects.
•Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
•Act as a quality advocate, promoting user satisfaction throughout the development lifecycle.
•Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in software testing and contribute to the team’s continuous improvement.

Requirements:
•4-6 years of experience in automation testing, including at least 1 year with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) (mandatory) and proficiency with Selenium Java.
•Advanced proficiency in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
•Knowledge of integrating test frameworks and cases with CI/CD tools like ADO, GitHub, and Jenkins.
•Solid understanding of design patterns beyond POM, including Factory and Singleton.
•Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
•Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical issues.

Nice to Have:
•Experience with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or SauceLabs.
•Exposure to cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or similar.
•Knowledge of best practices and standards in QA for high-quality deliverables.
•Experience working with globally distributed teams.
