Duties & Responsibilities:
Plans, develops, tests, documents, and implements software according to specifications and industry best practices. Converts functional specifications into technical specifications suitable for code development. Works with Delivery Manager and Business Analyst to evaluate users’ requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities. Follows coding and documentation standards. Participates in code review process. Analyzes, reviews, and alters program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Implements ETL processes and develops stored procedures. Implements batch and real-time internal and external API interfaces. Configures & deploys applications in all environments. Provides necessary knowledge transfer to support and services organizations. Continuously looks for ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency allowing us to provide a higher quality product in less time. Provides technical assistance to less experienced team members.

Required Skills:
Solid communication skills, ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Strong MS SQL, JSON, XML, Rest API, C# (preferable). Some experience with micro-services and Azure implementation patterns (preferable). Experience with debugging tools, such as Postman. Exposure to automated testing, especially test-driven development, a huge plus. Demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of current trends and technical advancements. Demonstrated understanding of the software product development life cycle and continuous integration. Thorough understanding of application development methodologies. Highly self-motivated and directed. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:	Relevant Bachelor’s degree required with a computer science, software engineering, or information systems major preferred. 4 - 6 years of relevant experience preferred; strong technical documentation skills.
