Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced Cutover Manager to lead and oversee the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth transition, managing the cutover activities, and coordinating cross-functional teams to guarantee the successful execution of the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of SAPERP systems. This role requires a hands-on approach with daily management of teams and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • • Lead the cutover process: Plan and execute the holistic cutover strategy for the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA and all its interfaces, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
    • Cross-team coordination: Work closely with various functional teams, including technical, operational, and business units, to align on objectives and ensure a seamless system transition.
    • dual maintenance and retrofit: Coordinate activities required for dual maintenance of our SAP ECC BAU landscape and the SAP S4 project landscape. Administrate the retrofit process to make sure both landscapes stay in sync for the relevant data load and testing cycles.
    • Team structure management: Establish and maintain team structures and processes to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, timelines are met, and any potential risks are mitigated.
    • Daily management of workstreams: Monitor and manage S/4 HANA Admin workstreams, ensuring proper execution of tasks, and resolve any issues that arise.
    • Communication: Act as the main point of contact for all cutover-related activities, providing regular updates and clear communication to stakeholders at all levels.
    • Documentation: Making sure all required processes are properly documented in accordance with the GxP and SOX validation requirements.
    • Risk and issue management: Identify potential risks and issues during the cutover process and develop mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth transition.

Required Skills and Experience
  • • Proven experience as a Cutover Manager, specifically in ERP systems and SAP S/4 HANA with complex interface environments
    • Strong technical understanding of SAP S/4 HANA – experience with SAP RISE private cloud is a plus.
    • Experience in managing data migration and system cutover activities from legacy systems to SAP S/4 HANA.
    • Knowledge of change management processes, with experience in handling change requests and system dual maintenance.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and business teams, ensuring all teams are aligned and coordinated.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and ensure deadlines are met.
    • Hands-on technical experience with SAP S/4 HANA Admin workstreams.
    • Problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and mitigating issues.
