Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:
(40 hours a week)
Mon-Fri 9am-6pm (includes 1 hr unpaid break)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Sales Development representative to join our team. This role involves making outbound calls to leads, qualifying prospects, and setting appointments for the sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be organized, and able to handle objections professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Outreach:

    • Use a dialer system to proactively call and engage leads.
    • Perform initial qualification over the phone, assessing prospect interest and fit.
    • Set up appointments for sales representatives with qualified prospects.
  • Record Keeping & CRM Management:

    • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
    • Ensure all notes and information are consistently updated to support sales team follow-up.
  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work closely with the sales team, providing insights on potential client needs and ensuring smooth lead transitions.
    • Handle objections effectively, providing clear, concise information to address prospect concerns.
  • Product Knowledge:

    • Stay informed on company products, services, and industry trends to communicate effectively and convey value to prospects.

Requirements
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and confidently over the phone.
  • Previous experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, or a sales experience is required
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • A noise-cancelling headset with a microphone to ensure clear communication.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Resilience and persistence when facing objections or challenges.
