Role Name: Senior Life Insurance Appointment Setter - Insurance Industry

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week - 9am 6pm est with one hour 12-1 for lunch.

Job Description

As a Senior Life Insurance Appointment Setter, you’ll play a crucial role in our client’s mission to provide financial security to seniors and their families. You’ll use cutting-edge technology to engage with potential clients, qualify leads, and set appointments for our experienced insurance agents. Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to potential clients using our database of qualified leads
  • Engage seniors in meaningful conversations about their insurance needs and financial concerns
  • Qualify prospects efficiently, identifying those most likely to benefit from our insurance products
  • Schedule appointments for insurance agents, aiming to set 4-5 qualified appointments daily
  • Use auto-dialing or manual dialing systems to optimize call efficiency and reach performance targets
  • Transfer live calls to sales representatives when appropriate, ensuring a smooth handoff
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions in our CRM system
  • Provide basic information about life insurance products, addressing initial questions and concerns
  • Handle objections professionally and persuasively to maximize appointment-setting success
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly goals of 20 booked appointments


Requirements
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English, with a friendly and empathetic phone manner
  • Previous experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, or customer service preferred
  • Comfort with high-volume calling and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong listening skills and ability to quickly build rapport with senior citizens
  • Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new software systems
  • Resilient and positive attitude, with the ability to handle rejection professionally
  • Self-motivated with a drive to meet and exceed performance targets
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Quiet, distraction-free home office setup with reliable internet connection
  • Familiarity with or interest in the insurance industry is a plus
