The Role

Versaterm is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to be the cornerstone of a newly formed infrastructure team. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on expert in cloud architecture and security engineering. The architect will be critical in setting our technical direction for the cloud for the entire company and will be involved with nearly every product team.

This is an individual contributor role with leadership opportunities through leadership of task forces, mentoring junior engineers, and being an advisor for peers around the company.

This position may require up to 25% travel within the US and Canada.

What You'll Bring

At least one programming language proficiency
Expert-level experience in AWS & Azure Cloud knowledge
Strong Infrastructure as Code Experience, including CloudFormation, Terraform and, Ansible
Strong knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 standards
Strong networking knowledge and experience including securing cloud at scale
Expert-level experience in containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
CI/CD expertise including Azure DevOps, GitHub and Jenkins
Amazing verbal and written communication skills

You’ll Impress Us With

Public Safety or Government Technology experience
Experience with on-premises datacenters
