The Position

What we do:

The Payroll Time Benefits team focuses on payroll, time, benefits support and provides customer service and advisory support to P&C and business partners on local P&C systems and processes and ensuring end-to-end process completion in line with customer focused principles to ensure the Roche People Practices work for the business.

The Opportunity:

As a Benefits Specialist, you are responsible for executing P&C system data maintenance and administrative activities in support of P&C business processes (in the area of payroll, insurance, several local and global benefits etc.). You are also contributing to the continuous improvement of the P&C Support Solutions delivery through analysis of the interactions and collaboration with other P&C functions within and outside of People Support Solutions. As a qualified expert, you are:

  • Providing insight, support and explanation on P&C system and administrative activities in the area of payroll, time & benefit services

  • Providing customer service on payroll, time & benefit related activities (inquiry resolution, request management, and troubleshooting)

  • Supporting P&C Chapters in system maintenance activities

  • Answering employee requests in the benefit area

  • Supporting the embedding of the new ways of working, actively participating in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

  • Behaving as role model to team members, showing positive and flexible attitude

  • Building relationships with P&C colleagues within the PSS organization as well as with customers to ensure ongoing service delivery effectiveness.

Please note that this opportunity is a fixed term, part-time position until 31/12/2026, with a commitment of 26 hours / week.

  • Strong & precise work-ethic, good analytical skills, ability to deal with Excel tables and ability to focus on details and numbers

  • Experience in service delivery or customer care environment or HR Operations / HR Services, plus an experience in (German) payroll is an advantage

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
