Job description

The role

As part of our Naval Combat Systems group, the Maintenance Co-ordinator will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing maintenance activities. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient operations, risk mitigation and maintaining a safe work environment.

Further, the successful candidate will:

  • Contribute to the development and updating the Maintenance Plan
  • Contribute to the development of Pre-Acceptance Plans
  • Help establish and refine standard operating procedures for maintenance activities
  • Review job cards for maintenance tasks
  • Supervise maintenance activities to ensure they align with production schedules
  • Coordinate with production teams to minimise disruptions during maintenance

Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role.

About you

Your skills and experience will include:

  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance coordination or similar role
  • Strong understanding of maintenance best practices and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude with attention to detail

As a defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level or have the ability to gain one.
