Digital Student Experience Coordinator 

Department: Digital Student Experience   

Office of Student Affairs 

Part Time (19hrs a week), Non-Exempt Contingent 1 

Hybrid (Remote, Travel to Adelphi, MD Required) 

 

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks a Coordinator within the Digital Student Experience Team (DSE) and The Office of Student Affairs (SAF). 

The DSE Coordinator, within the Digital Student Experience team, is responsible for the coordination of student feedback opportunities and other activities related to the collection of student insights for various projects within DSE. These feedback sessions could be in the form of surveys, interviews, panel discussions, and focus groups. Also, the DSE Coordinator will support the DSE department's operations, including essential administrative and operational support to ensure seamless execution of projects.  

Specific Responsibilities Include:  

  • Maintain SOP’s related to execution of DSE projects. 

  • Manage tracking and follow-up of student feedback session attendees across DSE projects. 

  • Collaborate with student communications and other staff members as needed to solicit volunteers for student feedback sessions. 

  • Maintaining team SharePoint, document management, and facilitating the updates of the internal and external DSE Student Affairs SharePoint pages. 

  • Management of DSE mailbox. 

  • Provide administrative support to Digital Student Experience team as needed (I.e. mailings, IT requests, etc.). 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum of one year of experience in student development, support or other academic setting. 

  • Qualified candidates must possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues across Student Affairs.  

  • Candidates should be curious and have creative and innovative ideas for enhancing the student experience.  

  • Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have strong computer skills. Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus.
