Job Overview & Responsibilities:
Emergent is seeking to hire a Network Systems Engineer (Zscaler) to support our solutions practice related to project-based technology implementations, addressing tier 2 related technical issues and providing overall support to company projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud technologies and providing direct support to customers.
Your primary role in this position is solving complex issues and providing white glove implementation services for our solutions and projects to our commercial and government customers. In addition:
- Supporting our sales teams with subject matter expertise, product demos, and test environments
- Deployment Advisory Projects which work with the customer’s IT staff to implement our SaaS solutions in an advisory role
- Manage the implementation process from start to finish, in alignment with the company’s deployment schedule and standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot complex issues Streamline approaches to task and problems. Set up and configure SaaS offerings
- Set up and configure SaaS offerings
- Provide technical advisory support directly to customers via Zoom, email, and phone
- Provide specialty support to the implementation and sales teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical disciple and/or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of work experience
- 5+ years of experience with consulting or technology
- 3+ years of experience in client-facing roles
- Demonstrated experience with Cloud/SaaS Technology
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network segmentation and routing
- Experience in VPN technologies and implementation
- URL Filtering rules experience
- Management of virtual machines
- SAML or another modern authentication protocol Experience
- Knowledgeable of Azure AD
- Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize a workload
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong drive towards quality, efficiency, problem solving, and timeliness
- Advanced Trouble Shooting of complex problems that involve multiple systems
Preferred qualifications:
- CCNA
- Firewall
- Cisco
- Bilingual
