As a Global Logistics Project Manager, you will be responsible for identifying areas of opportunity for improvement in global logistics operations and processes. You will lead, implement, and oversee global logistics projects of significant scale. Furthermore, as the system owner of the transport management system and other global logistics tools, you will serve as the single point of contact for Global W&D for serialization. Your key responsibilities: 

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

 

  • In collaboration with the global logistics manager identify areas of opportunity to improve global logistics operations.
  • Define, lead and implement agreed projects for global logistics according to the Global Warehouse and Distribution strategy.
  • Be the system owner for the Sandoz Transport Management system (TMS) and make sure interfaces are implemented and operational.
  • Support further rollouts of the TMS to Sandoz internal and external sites, as well as support the implementation of the TMS to logistics service providers.
  • Be the system owner and counterpart to IT for data analytics tools.
  • Be the main point of contact in Global W&D for serialization implementation in one of Global Logistics Hub.
  • Ensure that all activities and projects objectives are tied to the overall logistics strategy.
  • Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned work stream leads to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing for new initiatives.

  

What you will bring to the role: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably master’s degree) in Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • 5+ years of experience within Supply Chain Logistics.
  • Proven Project Management Experience.
  • xperience of freight forwarding / material movement within Supply Chain.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Intercultural experience and ability to act in a complex, multifunctional and global environment.
  • Experienced in complex data analysis and data modelling
  • Experienced in transport management systems.
