Our Newest Opportunity: 

Prospective Risk Management LLC (PRM) is an independent, third-party, health-care underwriting firm based in Jacksonville, FL.  We offer a full suite of products and services using only best-in-class actuarial tools, processes, and methodologies to offer risk-assessment services to Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), single employer plans, and the consulting community throughout the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs Senior level management duties.
  • Assists UW team with escalated issues.
  • Attends and participates in meetings with management/ leadership.
  • Leads and participates in internal committees and/or projects with management/ leadership team as needed.
  • Assists with training of department staff members as needed.
  • Leads team meetings.
  • Provides performance feedback and annual review and evaluation of team members.
  • Responds promptly to internal and external requests and escalations.
  • Acts independently to make decisions that are in the best interest of PEO.
  • Communicates to   management when problems are discovered that affect daily processes.   Identifies operations gaps and works with manager and team for resolution.
  • Identifies new and efficient ways to do business and proposes to upper management/ leadership.
  • Keeps management/ leadership aware of decisions made and solutions available that affect general business operations.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains accurate and timely documentation of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Looks for new and efficient ways to do business.
  • Communicates to   management and team when problems are discovered that affect daily processes.  
  • Identifies operations gaps and works with manager and team for resolution.
  • Assists with department new hire checklist duties as assigned.
  • Responds promptly to internal and external requests.
  • Maintains an ongoing attitude of continuous improvement of processes within the department.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills High attention to detail.
  • Strong business communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage quote reviews and escalations.
  • Team mentoring
  • Ability to act as underwriting sales liaison.
  • Manage reporting and team projects.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of employer based Large Group Fully Insured Master Health Plan benefits and design.
  • Experience working within the PEO industry
  • 5+ years of experience underwriting medical risk in the individual and/or small group health market

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year.  
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual
performance and/or the company’s performance.  We also offer eligible
