Role Overview: Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Apparel Marketing & E-Commerce Manager to elevate their brand's digital and merchandise presence. In this senior role, you’ll drive e-commerce growth through data-informed decisions, impactful marketing campaigns, and optimized customer experiences. As a leader, you’ll shape and execute strategies to surpass annual revenue, traffic, and conversion goals, while coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure smooth product launches and vibrant seasonal collections. A deep understanding of the LGBTQ+ community’s shopping preferences and cultural nuances is essential, enabling you to create authentic strategies that resonate deeply with the audience and foster meaningful engagement. Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing long-term growth plans, aligning budgets, and supporting the evolution of this community-centered brand.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, offering flexibility while playing a pivotal role in the brand’s growth and community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • E-Commerce Strategy: Lead e-commerce initiatives, product releases, and cross-functional collaboration to meet annual goals.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets and build projections for 2024 and beyond.
  • LGBTQ+ Market Insight: Demonstrated understanding of the LGBTQ+ community, with awareness of shopping habits, preferences, and cultural nuances. Familiarity with cruising culture is a plus.
  • Campaigns & Customer Insights: Execute campaigns that resonate with our community, using data to drive engagement and optimize site experience.
  • Cross-Functional Roadmap: Partner with technology, marketing, and logistics teams to enhance customer journey and support business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 6+ years in apparel e-commerce marketing with a focus on driving revenue growth.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Skilled at leading teams and working cross-functionally.
  • Platform Expertise: Knowledge of Shopify, Klaviyo, and apparel e-commerce best practices.
  • Data-Driven: Proficient in analytics to inform strategies and adapt to trends.
  • Customer Focused: Prioritizes inclusivity and customer experience in all strategies.

Our Core Values:

  • COMMUNITY  We come together in collective action to nurture a community that lifts one another up and prioritizes economic access and representation. Together, and with intention, we achieve more than we ever will alone.
  • IMPACT  Entrepreneurs at our core, we care deeply and take ownership for how we show up in the world. Individually and in community, we operate in highest and best use, measuring success in outcomes not output.
  • STEWARDSHIP  We believe in service plus advocacy. It is with great responsibility that we leverage the resources of our clients’ investments in us and our own corporate dollars to leave all things better than we found them.
  • COURAGE  With determination and resilience, we lead. True to our word, emphatic in our actions. Our stride is long and heads are held high, as we push the boundaries of what is accepted in pursuit of what is possible.
