About the Role

As a Data Analyst within our Worker Operations Team, you’ll play a key role in centralizing data across our marketplace tools, making it accessible and actionable for operational leaders in multiple support functions. Your expertise will shape data-driven decisions that enhance customer experiences and drive operational excellence.

You are adept in SQL, have 3+ years of experience managing data warehouses and crafting impactful visualizations, and bring a meticulous eye for detail, along with a deep curiosity and analytical mindset.

This role is fully remote, but we are currently not recruiting candidates based in the USA or Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize Technical Infrastructure: Oversee our technical infrastructure—from servers and networks to databases and applications—to preemptively identify and address performance issues, bolster security, and reduce system errors.
  • Data Management & Integrity: Execute complex SQL queries to manage custom tables, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and readiness for business-critical analyses.
  • Dashboard Development: Use data visualization tools to craft intuitive, high-level dashboards that give clear insights into essential customer support metrics, enabling leaders to make informed, strategic decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to assess data needs, ensuring relevant, accessible data supports each team’s unique objectives.
  • Data Strategy for New Initiatives: Collaborate with the TechOps team to identify, track, and present data that supports innovative customer experience projects.
  • Documentation & Workflow Transparency: Develop comprehensive documentation for queries, processes, and dashboards, fostering knowledge-sharing and continuity across data workflows.
  • Strategic Memos & Scoping: Draft investment memos and strategic plans for data-related initiatives that optimize customer support capabilities.
  • Patch Management: Oversee testing, deployment, and validation of security patches across our infrastructure to protect data integrity and service continuity.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proven background in technical support, IT operations, or system administration, particularly in high-paced environments. Skilled in diagnosing technical issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with major operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for task automation.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Understanding of ITIL framework best practices, especially in incident management and service delivery.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: A strong analytical mind with the ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: An unwavering commitment to high standards in technical operations.
  • Independent & Collaborative: Able to prioritize tasks, work autonomously, and collaborate effectively within a team to meet service level agreements.
  • Growth-Oriented: A drive for continuous learning, staying on top of industry trends, and developing new technical skills.
System Requirements
  • Minimum 15Mbps internet connection
  • Minimum i5 processor or equivalent
  • Minimum 12GB RAM
  • Quiet workspace with reliable power and internet

This is a fully remote role that offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to work with a team driven by a shared commitment to excellence.
