Position Description 
The Regional Health and Safety Manager is responsible for assisting with the Company's EHS program, which includes, safety training/enforcement, DOT compliance programs and general liability management. This position helps to foster and sustain a safe working environment and ensures training is developed and conducted throughout the company to increase safety, productivity, and reliability for our customers.
Position: Regional Health and Safety Manager
Location: Remote (Travel >50% of the time)
Pay: $125-140k per year (Pay is negotiable) plus bonus program

Essential Job Functions 
 
  • Developing and implementing programs: Create and implement programs to ensure compliance with regulations. 
  • Providing leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to EHST Managers and their facilities. 
  • Enforcing compliance: Ensure that employees, contractors, and vendors comply with regulations. 
  • Conducting audits: Perform internal audits and assist with regulatory audits. 
  • Training: Provide training to employees and managers. 
  • Managing incidents: Lead post-incident reviews and ensure corrective actions are taken. 
  • Analyzing data: Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. 
  • Communicating: Communicate issues and supporting data to improve health, safety, and the environment. 
  • Overseeing personnel: Oversee other health and safety personnel at various sites.

Qualifications 
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
· 10+ years of General Industry or Construction Safety experience.
· Current OSHA 500 certificate preferred.
· Strong leadership qualities.
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
· Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations relating to job duties.
· Knowledge of completing drivers’ files per FMSCA regulations and Hours of Service Rules preferred.
