Job description

 

Our North American Bang & Olufsen office is seeking a Sales Operations Consultant who can be the first point of contact for our wholesale and retailers partners in the US and Canada as well as assisting with daily, operational tasks in relation to our local sales, marketing, finance, service and logistic teams.

 

As a Sales Operations Coordinator at Bang & Olufsen, you will work closely with our sales team and partners across multiple sales channels. As a key frontline team member, you will ensure sales enquiries and support are handled effectively and professionally. Acting as the link between partners, the sales team and internal departments, you will ensure the Bang & Olufsen brand is always professionally represented. By offering proactive support and efficient ways of working, you will assist in boosting sales.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Have a high level of customer service and communication skills and be comfortable communicating with partners and internal colleagues via email and over the phone
  • Assist with order management, shipping issues, upselling projects, coordination of new product launches, campaign orders and various ad hoc tasks
  • Prioritize and respect procedures as well as capable of following up on cases in a timely and efficient manner
  • Build positive relationships with dealers, managing stakeholders and providing dedicated support to the local teams will be crucial aspects of your role.
  • Improve and update procedures and contributing to global Sales Operations projects
  • Ensure implementation of the company strategy in collaboration with your colleagues

 

What you bring

We are seeking an individual with 2+ years experience in a professional service industry, ideally supporting a business with key accounts and external partners.

Moreover, you bring:

  • Previous experience with sales or retail support
  • Previous experience working for a luxury of high-end international brand
  • Knowledge of the SAP ERP System or Microsoft Dynamics D365  
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Package
  • Have a robust and positive personality with a genuine team orientation who can easily collaborate with others to deliver luxury support and service for our partners and internal stakeholders
  • A service-oriented mindset who puts a high value on the needs of customers
  • Collaborative team member who open-minded and proactive, building relationships across channels and functions

 

What we offer

You will have the choice of working either out of our Manhattan office or remotely from home with frequent travels to our Manhattan office, but also have a direct link and report directly to the international Sales Operations team based in Denmark. Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package.

Location: New York City. Alternatively, the position can be remote from an Eastern US time zone, but with regular travel to our New York office.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Travel: Approx. 5%
