THIS IS A REMOTE WORK FROM HOME POSITION:

Commercial Provisioning Specialist will be responsible for providing moderate to advanced technical support to the Sales Teams, Sales Support, Field Technicians and customers who are having problems using/installing/troubleshooting the analogue or hosted phone products, seeing the technical support process through to resolution. This person also has the ability to take on complex issues.

The duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Will need to be able to work as an integral part of a team to overcome complex issues
  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining customer LNP (port) orders.
  • Handles moderately difficult escalated Phone Number Porting inquiries and provides support to internal and external customers when needed
  • Will at times need to reach out customers directly for clarification and troubleshooting
  • Help Design and implement Hosted Networks
  • Will help with DID inventory and management
  • Work with to identify areas for improvement and reports suggestions to senior management
  • Proactively handles LNP upkeep functions
  • Works with Senior staff to identify and correct deviations from accepted practices
  • Comfortable working cross functionally with teams
  • Troubleshoots non-management issues and provides guidance to less experienced Commercial LNP’s
  • Responsible for Moderate to Advanced strategic Implementation of hosted networks and Phones.
  • Coordinate local number porting projects
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of 1 Year - 4 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of Local Number Portability (LNP) processes
  • Knowledge of Hosted Design required
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi and wired internet networks required
  • Understanding of telephone provisioning processes/systems.
  • Knowledge of Billing systems, and report management required (GLDS preferred)
  • Strong computer skills including solid working knowledge of Windows-based applications
  • Outstanding problem solving, trouble shooting and communication skills
  • Knowledge of IT products including ticketing systems
  • Strong time management skills
  • Knowledge of/experience with hosted rack management.
