Genesis10 is seeking a SE&A Software Engineer for a contract with our client in Kansas City, MO. 100% Remote.
Job Description:
Applies the principles of software engineering to the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of solutions in support of applications, databases, test automation tools, and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates technical skill in at least one programming general purpose language (.Net, Angular, Python, Knockout etc.) and domain specific language (HTML, SQL, proprietary vendor language, etc.), as needed.
- Demonstrates knowledge and technical skill in software testing and quality practices.
- Demonstrates knowledge and technical skill in CI/CD tools specifically with Azure DevOps
- Demonstrates technical skill in at least one language utilized in practices regarding Cloud hosting platforms (infrastructure as code, deployment pipeline, etc.).
- Performs peer reviews using software engineering principles, patterns, and development guidelines.
- Partners with customers in the development of innovative solutions that achieve business goals.
- Reviews and analyzes business and technical requirements and implements technical solutions to meet those requirements.
- Provides on-call support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, incident management, and service request management for supported products and environments.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires at least 3-15 years of relevant experience, depending on the level. • Bachelor's degree specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience. Preferred • Senior understanding of subject.
- Has in-depth and/or breadth of knowledge in discipline.
- Performs work independently with limited supervision and direction. Serves as a resource for less experienced staff. Additional Information Location(s):

Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $80.00-$90.00
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
