What You Will Be Doing: 


We have a rare opening for a Senior Sales Executive on our Revenue team.  In this role, you will solicit sales of RegEd's registration/licensing, compliance, education/training, products and services. You'll work closely with account management, inside sales and our marketing teams to uncover new opportunities within existing, assigned insurance and financial services accounts.  You will also partner with our Solution Architect team to perform proper Needs Analysis/Discovery to understand the current environment and uncover key business drivers and challenges.  


You'll create and lead the sales strategy and properly prepare the RegEd sales team for upcoming sales presentations.  Additionally, you'll work closely with our Deal Desk team to create client proposals and negotiate commercial terms.  You will also work with the RegEd legal team to negotiate client contractual terms.  You will build a sales pipeline, which will allow you to meet and exceed quarterly and annual quotas.


This is an individual contributor quota-carrying role.

 

Responsibilities:


  • Develop a long-term successful strategy for your clients and your book of business
  • Educate and guide prospects through the RegEd journey to help them learn how RegEd can help their business
  • Build strong relationships with key executives within target firms, creating compelling reasons to buy
  • Use Salesforce.com to track all client and prospect activities   
  • Grow pipeline and provide accurate quarterly sales forecast, closing new business at or above quota level by identifying clients who are willing to invest in leveraging our software and training   
  • Must be self-directed and self-motivated.   
  • Excellent human relations skills, including written and verbal communications and group presentation skills, are required  
  • Collaborate with our marketing, product and technology departments to execute sales strategies as we introduce enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases of new products
  • Must possess skills in consultative sales and negotiating techniques.   
  • Must be able to organize activities and handle multiple projects simultaneously with effective and timely follow-up on each.   
  • Possess a positive attitude while operating under pressure and be an independent problem-solver.   
  • Strong computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office products.   

 

You’ve Got What It Takes If You:


  • are a Top Producer in your current role
  • possess accurate forecasting and pipeline management experience
  • have a minimum of 5+ years of enterprise RegTech sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales quota
  • possess an exceptional consultative sales approach to sell RegTech solutions and services to the financial services market
  • have 5+ years of managing a full sales cycle (from prospecting to close)
  • are an exceptional closer
  • bring the following consultative sales techniques: the ability to craft an account-specific sales strategy and uncover new sales opportunities within an assigned territory, establish and maintain credibility to be considered a trusted partner, establish value, successfully negotiate contracts, and close deals.

 

Must Have: 


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in the financial services market

 

Nice To Have: 


  • Background in insurance/broker-dealer sales is desirable, but not required.

The compensation range for this position is $70,000-$400,000, which includes base and variable pay. RegEd's compensation package is based on each candidate's unique skills, qualifications and experience.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience and qualifications.  The total compensation package also includes our comprehensive benefits package, vacation time, sick time, volunteer time and parental leave.
