Web Content Designer

We are hiring an experienced Web Content Designer with experience in financial sector in the federal government.

Key Responsibilities

• Creates graphic designs for web development based on web analytics and user experience (UX) research. 
• Creates designs that motivate and engage users to regularly access the website and utilize it as a major source for information gathering and decision-making. 
• Manages and performs website editorial activities, including gathering and researching information that enhances the value of the site. 
• Designs and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, modern techniques, and modern tools.
• Designs and develops wireframes, mockups, user interface features, site animation, infographics, and site interactivity.
• Contributes to the design group's efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization's online offerings. 
• Designs the website to support the organization's strategies and goals relative to external communications. 

• Bachelor's degree design, communications, mass media, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in web content design for federal government website(s).
• Experience supporting a federal government web project; familiarization in US Web Design Systems (USWDS) principles and federal branding guidelines.
